Common Questions
How do I know a grab bar will hold?
We mount grab bars into studs or with anchors made for them, never into bare drywall or tile alone.
Can you replace my smoke detectors?
We put up battery-powered smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Hardwired alarms are electrical work, so an electrician replaces those.
Can you look at the whole house and suggest changes?
Yes. We can walk through with you and point out where a rail, a grab bar or a lower shelf would help.
Can you do bigger changes, like a walk-in shower or wider doors?
Yes. Those are remodel projects. See Accessible Home Remodels.
